Mother, daughter gunned down in Rocky Point

Residents of Rocky Point in Clarendon have been left in shock after a woman and her daughter were reportedly shot and killed during an attack at a bar on Monday night.

Reports are that the shooting occurred shortly before 9 p.m.

Police sources say a third person was injured during the attack and remains hospitalised.

The brazen shooting has sent fear through the fishing community in south eastern Clarendon, especially as it comes just months after a gruesome triple murder rocked the area.

In that December 2025 incident, a man allegedly hacked to death his mother, brother and a cousin. He has since been arrested and charged.

Investigations into Monday night's double murder are ongoing.
